The requirement for work experience and case studies is so beneficial as it's one thing learning the theory but something else putting it all into practice.  Doing this course is the single best thing I have EVER done for myself!!! Where do I even begin?! I debated long and hard about doing the course, over the course of probably 6-12 months. It was a big financial investment and needed careful consideration. But I also needed to have the belief in myself that I could do it. I finally decided to take a leap of faith, to believe in myself and just go for it, and I haven't looked back! From the very first call it was crystal clear to me that I was on the right path. I had found my tribe! And I had finally found my thing! Dilly is incredibly informative and willingly shares every nugget of information she has. Week in week out she talked for an hour solid about everything organising, decluttering, spatial planning, storage etc. I ate it up!! She is a true fountain of knowledge and expert in her field. Having the opportunity to go on work experience and learn from Dilly in person is invaluable. Again this was a big financial investment, as I was coming from across the pond, but it was 100% worth every penny! Having a whatsapp group with the rest of my cohort has been so lovely. There's always someone on hand to offer advice or a solution. And we're each others cheerleaders. It's just the best and I'd be lost without the girls! I can safely say I would 10/10 recommend this course to anyone considering a career change, working for themselves and doing something you absolutely love!  Fabulous course, hopefully a new direction for me. So much useful information taught from Dilly. I really enjoyed the house move day I was able to attend. A tiny bit disappointed that the second possible house in Northamptonshire didn’t work out. People still working full time are not always able to take the time off & can loose those valuable opportunities.  The Declutter Dollies course has been absolutely fantastic - I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering it. I was apprehensive at first, particularly as it involved me stepping out of my comfort zone and considering a new career, but Dilly was thorough, methodical, kind and so helpful throughout the course. Each week approached one subject which was clearly discussed with time for questions, and her insight was invaluable with so many small tips and tricks to think about. I really appreciated how the course not only covered the practicalities of organising different rooms, but also the business side of the job such as social media, fees/rates and key kit too. I started the course unsure about whether I would really want to run my own business doing this, and I ended it with a notebook full of ideas and a completely branded business ready to launch. In addition, the work experiences that were organised were so helpful in putting the theory into practise. Dilly was kind and patient during those days, demonstrating things to us and giving feedback on our work, and it meant that I felt so much more confident going into people’s homes having completed those days. I also really appreciated the camaraderie that was developed between everyone on the course - I really felt as though we were able to celebrate each other’s wins and form a great bond which has continued since the course has finished.  I was part of Dilly’s September 2023 Becoming a Professional Organiser Course. The 12 week course was everything I wanted it to be. Dilly covered every aspect of home organising in such detail, that I felt incredibly confident and prepared as I entered the Home Organising world. The one hour Zoom sessions every week suited me perfectly and Dilly was always available with advice and answering my many questions in between. We were given homework every week which not only enabled us to gain experience but were also a massive learning curve.
